Big John B Wins Tokyo City Cup at Santa Anita Park

The $100,000 Grade 3 Tokyo City Cup Stakes took place at Santa Anita Park in Arcadia, California in Sunday, April 3 - a 1 1/2 mile dirt test for horses four years old and upward. Michael House's Big John B made it two-for-two at 1 1/2 miles on dirt in his career with a relatively easy win as the 3-2 morning line favorite. Class Leader closed from sixth to finish second at 5-1 odds and 10-1 shot Blingo was another 2 1/4 lengths back in third. Second choice Lieutenant Colonel tired to finish fourth followed by John's Success, China Girl Lover and Ike Walker, to complete the order of finish.
