Collected Wins Californian Stakes at Santa Anita Park

Santa Anita Park in Arcadia, California played host to the $200,000 G2 Californian Stakes on Saturday, April 22. Horses three years old and upward took to Santa Anita's dirt track and raced 1 1/8 miles. Speedway Stable's, Bob Baffert trained 3-5 race favorite Collected impressed again, winning by an easy 3 3/4 lengths in the field of five. 5-2 second choice Follow Me Crev rallied from fourth to claim second with Prospect Park getting in for third at 6-1 odds. Texas Ryano and Prime Attraction completed the order of finish. Baffert stablemate Cupid was a late scratch from the race.
