Bolt d'Oro Wins FrontRunner Stakes at Santa Anita Park

The $300,000 G1 FrontRunner Stakes took place Saturday, September 30 at Santa Anita Park in Arcadia California. Horses two years old took to Santa Anita's dirt track and went 1 1/16 miles. Mick Ruis-owned and trained, 4-5 race favorite Bolt d'Oro absolutely dominated and made quite a statement - defeating the nine-horse field by 7 3/4 lengths. 3-1 second choice Solomini finished a good second with frontrunner 72-1 longshot Take the One O One hanging on for third. Ayacara was fourth with Zatter, who was sent off at 3-1, Encumbered, City Plan, Continental Divide and Texas Wedge completing the order of finish.
