Unique Bella Wins Las Virgenes Stakes at Santa Anita Park
The $200,000 G2 Las Virgenes Stakes went down Sunday, February 5 at Santa Anita Park in Arcadia, California. Three year old fillies took to Santa Anita's dirt track and raced one mile. Don Alberto Stable's superstar in the making - 1-9 favorite Unique Bella won her third race in four career starts - this time by an incredible 8 3/4 lengths. Her three wins have now come by a combined 34 lengths! Mopotism came in second in the field that was trimmed to just four, 1 1/4 lengths ahead of Champagne Room who got in for third. Miss Southern Miss trailed from the start en route to a fourth place finish. Mistressofthenight scratched.
