Sircat Sally Wins Señorita Stakes at Santa Anita Park

Santa Anita Park in Arcadia, California was the scene of the $100,000 G3 Señorita Stakes on Saturday, May 6. Three year old fillies were featured when they took to Santa Anita's turf track and raced one mile. Joe Turner's undefeated homebred filly - 2-5 race favorite Sircat Sally did what almost everybody expected and posted victory - this time going away by 1 1/2 lengths. Beau Recall closed from last to claim second place at 5-1 odds while Pacific Wind, who was also sent off at 5-1 got in for third. Spy Ring was fourth in the field of six with Helen Hillary and Tiburtina completing the order of finish. Guilty Twelve scratched.
