Hronis Racing's 4-1 third choice Hard Aces was best on the day, out-finishing defending champion and 3-2 favorite Big John B by a neck. 2-1 second choice Hi Happy finished an OK third in the field of six while Beach View came in fourth, followed by Infobedad and Irish Surf, to complete the order of finish.
