Last year's runner up in this race Justin Phillip bettered last year's performance won the six furlong sprint in impressive style - by two lengths at 3-1 odds over Bahamian Squall and Gentlemen's Bet. 8-5 favorite Delaunay was a disappointing fourth while Caixa Eletronica trailed throughout in the five-horse field.
