Robert Baker and William Mack's Strong Mandate dominated the seven furlong test for two year olds winning by an impressive 9 3/4 lengths at 7-1 odds. 30-1 shot Casiguapo finished a very good second while Lunarwarfare was third. Big Sugar Soda, Grade 2 Sanford Stakes winner Wired Bryan, Long On Value, All in Blue, King Cyrus, the 7-2 favorite Corfu, and Southern Blessing completed the order of finish.
