St. Elias Stable and West Point Thoroughbreds' 5-2 race favorite Ring Weekend survived an inquiry and prevailed in a solid field of nine entries - in turf course record time by a neck. 3-1 second choice Jay Gatsby was second, a nose in front of Take the Stand who got in for third at 9-2 odds. Farhaan was fourth while Dubai Sky, Reporting Star, Takeover Target, Solemn Tribute, and Natchez completed the order of finish. War Dancer was scratched.
