Tourist Wins Fourstardave Handicap at Saratoga Race Course
The rescheduled $500,000 Grade 1 Fourstardave Handicap was contested Saturday, August 20 at Saratoga Race Course in Saratoga Springs, New York - a one mile Inner turf test for horses three years old and upward. Grade I-placed multiple times, 5-2 co-favorite Tourist finally broke through for his first victory in top company after surviving an objection from Javier Castellano who was aboard 5-1 shot A Lot who eventually finished second in the field of six. Last year' champion in this race Grand Arch finished third at 9-2 odds while King Kreesa, Force the Pass and the other 5-2 co-favorite Ring Weekend completed the order of finish. Blacktype, Reporting Star and Takeover Target scratched.
