Flintshire Wins Sword Dancer Stakes at Saratoga Race Course

The $1 million Grade 1 Longines Sword Dancer Stakes was run on a busy Saturday, August 27 at Saratoga Race Course in Saratoga Springs, New York. Horses three years old and upward were featured as they took to Saratoga's Inner turf track and went 1 1/2 miles. Juddmonte Farms', heavy 1-5 favorite Flintshire did what most expected and dominated the seven horse field by 1 3/4 lengths. Money Multiplier, who was sent off at 8-1 odds finished second, 2 3/4 lengths ahead of 10-1 shot Twilight Eclipse who got in for third. Grand Tito was fourth followed by Inordinate, Roman Approval, and Applicator to complete the order of finish.
