Up With the Birds Wins Nijinsky Stakes at Woodbine Racetrack

Woodbine Racetrack in Toronto, Ontario played host to the $200,000 Grade 2 Nijinsky Stakes on Sunday, July 24 - a 1 1/8 mile race for horses three years old and upward. 2013 Canadian Horse of the Year, Sam-Son Farm's 3-2 race favorite Up With the Birds snapped a 12-race losing streak in the field of five by 1 1/4 lengths. 7-2 third choice Button Down rallied from fourth to finish second in the field of five while Halo Nation got in for third at 13-1 odds. 8-5 second choice Kaigun was fourth while Dynamic Sky completed the order of finish.
