Quidura Wins Canadian Stakes at Woodbine Racetrack

The $250,000 G2 Canadian Stakes was run Saturday, September 16 at Woodbine Racetrack in Toronto, Ontario. Fillies and mares three years old and upward lined up on Woodbine's turf track and raced about 1 1/8 miles. Cestuet Faehrhof's homebred filly, 2-5 race favorite Quidura did what most expected and continued to make climb the Divisional ladder with a one length win over a game 7-2 second choice Elysea's World who finished a quality second. Starship Jubilee, who was sent off at 9-2 was third in the field of seven with Grizzel, Southern Gem, Involuntary and Moonlight Sky completing the order of finish.
