Souper Tapit Wins Marine Stakes at Woodbine Racetrack

The $125,000 G3 Marine Stakes took place Sunday, May 28 at Woodbine Racetrack in Toronto, Ontario - a 1 1/16 mile All Weather Track test for three year olds. Live Oak Plantation's homebred and 9-5 race favorite Souper Tapit rewarded his backers with a nice late kick and a two-length score. Channel Maker finished second at 4-1 odds in the field of seven with 3-1 co-second choice Malibu Secret another 5 3/4-lengths back in third. Megagray was fourth while Minister's Strike, Conquest Lemonraid, who was sent off at 3-1 and Montu completed the order of finish.
