Bullards Alley Wins Pattison Canadian International Stakes at Woodbine Racetrack

The biggest race of the weekend - the $800,000 G1 Pattison Canadian International Stakes went down Sunday, October 15 at Woodbine Racetrack in Toronto, Ontario. Horses three years old and upward took to Woodbine's turf track and raced 1 1/2 miles. Wayne Spalding and Faron McCubbins' Bullards Alley pulled the major upset, dominating an impressive field by 10 3/4 lengths at 42-1 odds and in the process snapping a 15-race losing streak. 8-1 shot Oscar Nominated utilized a good stretch run to capture second in the field of 10 with Flamboyant, who was sent off at 10-1, another half-length back in third. 2-1 race favorite Idaho was fourth with 4-1 second choice Erupt, Chemical Charge, Enterprising, Postulation, Messi, and Johnny Bear completing the order of finish.
