Las Vegas, NV - The Grade 3 Victory Ride Stakes is on tap for this Saturday, July 7th from Belmont Park in New York. Three year old fillies will dash six furlongs on Belmont's dirt track for their share of the $150,000 purse.

The Victory Ride has drawn a quality group of six females for race 8 on Belmont's Saturday card. Post time is 4:34 PM. Here is a look at all six and the past performances that brought them to this Grade 3 race.

2012 Victory Ride Stakes Race Favorites

Agave Kiss - has six career starts, all at six furlongs - she has won them ALL including the Miss Preakness Stakes last time out, the Trevose Stakes before that, the Grade 3 Cicada Stakes before that and in the Ruthless Stakes before that. There aren't too many fillies that you can say that about! She is the unquestioned favorite in the Victory Ride and rightfully so!

Gypsy Robin - has won three straight starts including an impressive score in the Grade 2 Beaumont Stakes at Keeneland on March 15th. Sandwiched around that terrific result was a win last time out in the Inaugural Stakes at Presque Isle Downs on May 15th at 6 furlongs and a win at the Sorority Stakes at Monmouth Park on September 5th - both on synthetic tracks. Gypsy Robin is on fire and should be in contention in the Victory Ride.

Tu Endie Wei - brings a record of four wins and a second in seven career starts into the Victory Ride - all starts on synthetic tracks however. To start out this year, Tu Endie Wei won the six furlong Star Shoot Stakes at Woodbine on April 14th in impressive fashion by 5 ½ lengths. This followed up an equally impressive score in the seven furlong Glorious Song Stakes by five lengths in November. Since then she has finished an impressive second in the Grade 3 Selene Stakes and most recently was a disappointing sixth in the Alywow Stakes at Woodbine.

Sea Island - has five career starts under her belt with two wins in her only two starts of 2012 - an Allowance Optional Claiming last time out here on May 13th and a Maiden Special Weight at Aqueduct before that.

Emma's Encore - won two minor races in February and March but since then has fallen off a tad - an eighth place finish in the Grade 2 Gulfstream Oaks on March 31st was followed by a second place finish last time out in an Allowance Optional Claiming here on May 16th.

Jamaican Smoke - has just three career starts but has won her last two - an Allowance at Churchill Downs on May 25th followed a Maiden Special Weight score at Keeneland on April 19th. Jamaican Smoke's other result was a third in her career debut at Gulfstream in March.
