2012 All Along Stakes Race Favorites

Snow Top Mountain - had a string of five races in which she placed but has failed to do so in the last two starts. In September, Snow Top Mountain won the Kentucky Cup Ladies Turf Stakes and followed that up with a pair of thirds in an Allowance and in the Grade 3 My Charmer Handicap at Calder. 2012 started with an impressive win at the Grade 3 Suwannee River Stakes at Gulfstream but since then she has just a seventh in the Grade 3 Hillsborough Stakes at Tampa Bay and a sixth last time out in the Grade 3 Early Time Mint Julep Handicap at Churchill Downs in June 2nd. Snow Top Mountain has shown good form in the past and will be looking to get back on track this Saturday.

Pachattack - won the Grade 3 Doubledogdare Stakes last time out her first start of 2012 after a fairly productive 2011. Pachattack was third in the Grade 1 Breeders' Cup Ladies Classic in November and before that finished second in the Grade 1 Juddmonte Spinster Stakes on October 9th. She also had a second in the Grade 1 Personal Ensign Invitational Stakes at Saratoga a month before that. Pachattack has raced in six straight graded stakes races with two wins, two seconds a third and a disappointing eighth in the Grade 1 Beverly D. Stakes at Arlington last spring. She loves the big races and fares very well in most although turf courses present a bit of a problem.

Speak Easy Gal finished an OK third in the Florida Sunshine Millions Filly and Mare Turf Stakes in January and has proven that she can race with the big dogs.

Another Smokey - has raced a staggering seven times already in 2012 - all at Tampa Bay Downs. She has placed in all with a win, two seconds and four third place finishes against lesser competition.

Embarr - has raced three times in 2012 with two wins - an Allowance Optional Claiming last time out on May 13th and another Allowance score at Pimlico on March 31st. The All Along Stakes is a huge step up in competition for Embarr who is yet to see any stakes action.

Prize Catch - has raced twice in graded stakes races - a fifth in the Grade 2 New York Stakes last June and a fifth in the Grade 3 Glens Falls Stakes last September. In her only race in the last eight months, Prize Catch was sixth in an Allowance Optional Claiming at Belmont on May 28th.
