Las Vegas, NV - The Grade 2 Pat O'Brien Stakes comes our way this Sunday, August 26 during a packed day of racing at Del Mar in Southern California. Horses three years old and upward will be after their portion of the $250,000 purse when they go seven furlongs on Del Mar's synthetic track.

The Pat O'Brien has attracted a small but quality field of six to go in race 5 on Del Mar's busy Sunday card. Post time is 3:05 PM. Here is a look at all six entries and what brought them to this Grade 2 event.

2012 Pat O'Brien Stakes Race Favorites

Camp Victory - had a very productive 2011 - three wins and three seconds in nine starts - most results coming in graded stakes action. In 2012 Camp Victory started with a pair of thirds - the Grade 2 Portero Grande Stakes at Santa Anita in April and the Grade 3 Los Angeles Handicap on May 28. Last time out Camp Victory put himself squarely on the Pat O'Brien radar with an impressive win over rival The Factor in the Grade 1 Triple Bend Handicap at Hollywood Park June 30. He finished second in this race last year behind The Factor and will be looking to better that result by one on Sunday.

Coil - Bob Baffert trained colt won his only start of 2012 - an Allowance Optional Claiming here on July 26. Coil was terrific in 2011 recording wins in the Grade 3 Affirmed and the Grade 1 Haskell and finishing second in the Grade 2 Swaps Stakes. His win last time out after a ten month layoff may be a sign that he is ready to contend in the big races once again.

Capital Account - made his graded stakes debut for trainer Bob Baffert last time out with a decent third in the Grade 1 Bing Crosby here on July 29 behind Amazombie and The Factor after four wins, two seconds and a third place finish in seven career starts including two wins in his previous three starts. He won an Allowance over six and a half furlongs by impressive three and three quarter lengths before the Bing Crosby. He has proven to be a game competitor and could be in the hunt on Sunday.

Mobilized - placed fifth in the Grade 2 American Handicap and followed it with a decent third in the Grade 1 Triple Bend at Hollywood on June 30. Last time out was a fifth in the Grade 2 San Diego Handicap on this track July 26. He did win in the Tiznow Stakes on April 28 and recorded an Allowance score at Santa Anita on March 30 to prove that he is not to be looked past in the Pat O'Brien.

Don Tito - is no stranger to stakes action. In fact he had finished fifth in four stakes races the last year - the Cool Frenchy Stakes, the Grade 1 Pat O'Brien, the Grade 2 San Diego Handicap and the Grade 2 Potrero Grande Stakes. In two Allowance Optional Claiming races at Hollywood Park this year, Don Tito has a third place finish and has a win respectively before a pedestrian fifth last time out in the Grade 1 Bing Crosby here on July 29.

Bruce's Dream - is multiple graded stakes placed and is a multiple stakes winner but has been plagued by injury since a streak of six wins in his first eight career starts. Last time out was a fourth in an Allowance Optional Claiming here in his only start of 2012 after a nearly two year layoff.
