Las Vegas, NV - Woodbine Racetrack in Toronto, Ontario will play host to the Grade 3 Ontario Colleen Stakes this Saturday, August 17. Three year old fillies will be featured as they go on mile on Woodbine's turf track for a purse of $150,000.

A field of nine three year old fillies will line up in the Ontario Colleen - race 8 on Woodbine's Saturday card. Post time is 4:18 PM. Here is a brief glance into the past performances of all nine entries for this Grade 3 stakes.

2013 Ontario Colleen Stakes Race Favorites

Coffee Clique - won the Grade 3 Selene Stakes on this track May 19 for trainer Brian Lynch and followed that with a fourth last time out in the Grade 2 Dance Smartly July 7. She also had a decent second in the minor Secret Grace Stakes and a fourth in the Grade 3 Herecomesthebride Stakes at Gulfstream this year. Her Selene win has opened a few eyes - enough to make Coffee Clique the 2-1 morning line favorite for the Ontario Colleen out of post 4.

Overheard - has never been worse than third in seven career starts with three wins including last time out in the minor Alywow Stakes here June 9. She was a good second April 18 in the Grade 3 Appalachian Stakes at Keeneland and followed that with an OK third in the Grade 3 Selene Stakes behind Coffee Clique on this track in May. She is the most accomplished filly in the field and should challenge the field Saturday. Overheard is listed as the 3-1 second choice and breaks from post 7.

Leigh Court - has six career starts for trainer Josie Carroll with three wins including last time out in the minor Duchess Stakes and two second place finishes. Her only off-the-board finish came in May in the Grade 5 Selene Stakes where she was fifth. She hopes to erase the memory of the Selene Stakes and overtakes a couple of fillies that beat her that day. She is currently listed as the third choice on the morning line at 4-1 odds.

Sky Treasure - Mark Casse trained filly races for the fifth time Saturday but does have one minor stakes race under her belt - the Duchess Stakes last time out where she finished third. Before that was an Allowance score and a win in a MSW race - both on this track and in June. She is lightly raced but has yet to finish worse than third in four career starts. She is the 6-1 fourth choice and breaks from post 8 on Saturday.

Savvy Hester - Ricky Griffith trained filly has a win, four seconds and a third place finish in nine career starts but steps up in graded stakes company for the first time Saturday. Her only win came in a Maiden Claiming in December but she has placed in four of five starts since with the best coming July 10 - a second in the minor Christina Stakes at Delaware Park. She goes off at 10-1 odds from post 3 .

Captivating Dancer - Michael Doyle trained filly makes her graded stakes debut Saturday after an OK second in her stakes debut last time out - the minor Duchess Stakes at Woodbine July 21. Before that was two straight wins on this track - an Allowance Optional Claiming June 21 and a Maiden Claiming June 2.

Big Brown Brooski - has just four career starts but was on a two race win streak (a MSW and an Allowance on this track) before a seventh last time out in her stakes debut- the minor Bison City on this track June 30. She breaks from post 5 hoping for a bounce back performance but and sits at 12-1 odds on the morning line.

She's Popular - broke maiden last time out in her third career start - on this track June 29. Before that was a fourth and a fifth respectively in similar races on the same track. She is one of the two longest shots in the field at 20-1 odds and breaks from the far outside.

Rutherford Rd - has failed to place in any of her three starts this year - an eighth in the minor Fury Stakes, a seventh in the minor Woodbine Oaks and a sixth last time out in an Allowance Optional Claiming. Her last graded stakes action came in September - an eleventh in the Grade 2 Natalma on this track. She doesn't figure to be a factor at 20-1 odds.
