Coffee Clique - Brian Lynch trained mare has seven wins, two seconds and two third place finishes in 16 career starts and has been a tad difficult to figure out lately. She enters off a fifth in the Grade 2 Ballston Spa Stakes at Saratoga August 29 which followed a good win in the Grade 3 Dr. James Penny Memorial at Parx July 4, a sixth in the Grade 1 Just a Game Stakes in June, a second in the Grade 2 Churchill Distaff Turf Mile and a third in the Grade 2 Honey Fox Stakes in March. She ended 2014 with a win in the 2014 Just a Game Stakes at Belmont Park in June during a tidy three race win streak - the others wins being Grade 2 Churchill Distaff turf May 3 and an Allowance Optional Claiming at Gulfstream in March. She also posted a nice win in the Grade 3 Selene Stakes May 19, 2013. Coffee Clique has placed in just one of her last three starts overall after hitting the board in her previous six. Manuel Franco has been tabbed with getting Coffee Clique, the 123 pound co-highweight back into top form when they leave from the rail Saturday.

Lady Lara - legendary trainer Bill Mott sends out Lady Lara who had two wins, two seconds and three third place finishes in 13 starts in Ireland before shipping. She recorded a win, a second and a third place finish in her last three starts at home and posted two wins and a second place finish in her first three starts in North America. She won the Grade 2 Honey Fox Stakes in March at Gulfstream, was a respectable second in the Grade 2 Mrs. Revere Stakes at Churchill Downs in November and she won her North American debut - the minor Pebbles Stakes at Belmont Park in October. Lady Lara has stumbled of late - a sixth last time out in the Grade 1 Diana Stakes July 25 followed two straight fourth place finishes - the Grade 1 Just a Game Stakes last time out June 6 and in the Grade 2 Churchill Distaff Turf Mile in May. She has failed to place in her last three starts overall and hopes to regain her early year from with Junior Alvarado in the reins of the other 123 pound co-highweight from gate 8.
