Las Vegas, NV - The Grade 3 Eatontown Stakes will be contested this Saturday, June 27 from Monmouth Park on the Jersey Shore. A purse of $100,000 will be on the line for fillies and mares three years old and upward willing to go 1 1/16 miles on Monmouth Park's turf track.

2015 Eatontown Stakes Race Favorite Entries

Kenzdargent 4-1 - French bred Chad Brown trained filly enters off a good win on this very track - by 3 3/4 lengths at this distance in the listed Miss Liberty Stakes May 25 which followed a sixth in the minor Pebbles Stakes at Belmont and two Allowance Optional Claiming scores in her only other North American starts. She had just one win, seven seconds and a third place finish in 12 starts at home but has looked very good states-side however having won three of her four starts here. Kenzdargent looks to continue that roll into graded stakes action when she leaves from post 5 as the morning line favorite with an as-yet-to-be-determined jockey and as the likely one to catch.

Stellar Path 7-2 - Christophe Clement trained French bred filly had five wins, three seconds and a third place finish in 13 career starts at home including a pair of stakes - the best being the Group 3 Prix des Reservoirs in October, 2013. She made her debut in North America April 17 and promptly won the minor Plenty of Grade Stakes at Aqueduct and followed that with a fourth after tiring as favorite in her graded stakes debut- the Grade 3 Nassau Stakes at Woodbine May 23. Stellar Path has two wins and a second place finish in her last five starts but has failed to place in two of her last three overall. Joe Bravo will be in charge looking for a little consistency - from gate 6 Saturday.

Eatontown Stakes 2015 | Remaining Contenders

Recepta 6-1 - has eight career starts for trainer James Toner with three wins and three third place finishes. She enters off an OK third place finish in the Grade 3 Beaugay Stakes at Belmont Park May 9, an Allowance score April 12, a tenth in the Grade 1 Belmont Oaks Invitational back in July and consecutive thirds in stakes action at this time last year. Recepta looks for her first stakes win Saturday when she leaves from gate 8 with Kendrick Carmouche guiding her.

I'm Already Sexy 6-1 - Wayne Catalano trained mare has eight wins and two second place finishes in 22 career starts. She won the 2013 Pucker Up Stakes, the 2014 Grade 3 Modesty Handicap and the minor Kentucky Downs Ladies Turf Stakes in September but has had some unflattering results over that span as well. She enters off a second in the Grade 3 Mint Julep Handicap at Churchill Downs June 6, an eighth in the Grade 2 Churchill Downs Turf Mile May 2 and a win in the minor Cooper City Handicap at Gulfstream in February. I'm Already Sexy has been very good at times and not so good at others - she has placed in two of her last three starts overall. I'm Already Sexy looks for her third graded stakes win from gate 10 with Paco Lopez in the irons.

Rusty Slipper 6-1 - H. Graham Motion trained mare made her 2014 debut June 24 and finished fourth in last year's Eatontown Stakes but bounced back with a nice win in the Grade 3 Violet Stakes at Monmouth Park August 23. She finished an OK third in the Grade 1 Rodeo Drive Stakes after that and went on to a tenth in the Breeders' Cup Filly and Mare Turf. She finished 2014 off with a sixth in the Grade 3 Robert J. Frankel Stakes in December and has two unflattering starts in 2015 - a third in the listed Megahertz Stakes at Santa Anita January 17 and a seventh in the Grade 2 Santa Ana Stakes March 15. Rusty Slipper has four wins (two stakes) and two third place finishes in 12 career starts and has failed to place in three of her last four overall. Daniel Centeno has the mount from the gate 2.

Bocaiuva 6-1 - Irish bred filly has nine starts at home with three wins and a second place finish but has yet to place in two races in the US. She did win a stakes October 1 at Chantilly and was third in her last start in Europe - the Group 3 Prix de Flore October 30 but hasn't looked great since shipping. Last time out was a fourth in the Grade 3 Gallorette Handicap May 16 after a tenth in an Allowance at Keeneland in April. Bocaiuva looks to make a little noise on North American soil Saturday when she departs from gate 4 with Elvis Trujillo aboard.

Speed Seeker 8-1 - Joan Scott trainee has three wins and a third place finish in 10 career starts. Her best result to date came in August, 2013 when she won the Grade 3 Ontario Colleen Stakes at Woodbine but she has placed in just two of seven starts since. She enters off a sixth in the minor Pleasant Acres Stallions Distaff Turf Stakes April 4 which followed an OK third in the Grade 3 Hillsborough Stakes at Tampa Bay in Match and a pair of fifths in minor stakes action this past winter. Speed Seeker hasn't been great but is capable of a big run. Erick Rodriguez gets the call from post 3 Saturday

Sistas Stroll 8-1 - Tom Proctor trained filly has three wins and three third place finishes in seven career starts. She won her graded stakes debut - the Grade 3 Pucker Up Stakes at Arlington in September and has just three starts since - a third last time out in the Grade 3 Gallorette Handicap May 16 followed an uncharacteristic fifth in an Allowance at Keeneland April 17 and a third in the Grade 1 QE II Challenge Cup at Keeneland in October. Sistas Stroll has been in every race of her career and is expected to be again Saturday. Trevor McCarthy rides from post 7.

Evidently 15-1 - won the Pleasant Acres Stallion Distaff Turf Stakes two starts back in her stakes debut - at Tampa Bay April 4 and followed that with an OK third in her only other stakes try - the minor Miss Liberty Stakes on this track May 25. Evidently has 10 career starts with two wins and a third place finish and enters this week in so-so form. Gabriel Saez has been tabbed to ride from the rail Saturday.

She's Not Here 20-1 - enters off an Allowance Optional Claiming score at Churchill Downs May 30 which followed two straight off-the-board finishes in Allowance races earlier this year. She did finish third on this track in her only graded stakes action to date - in the Grade 3 Boiling Springs Stakes September 1 however. She's Not Here will be after her first stakes win Saturday from the outside post 11 with Orlando Bocachica guiding her.

Royal Renage 30-1 - Elizabeth Merryman trained mare has three wins, four seconds and a third place finish in 14 career starts and is coming off a career best result - a win in her stakes debut - the minor Lyphard Stakes at Penn National May 30. Before that was a second in an Optional Claiming and three straight off-the-board finishes in Allowance race. Royal Renage makes her graded stakes debut Saturday in decent form and will have Jevian Toledo in the reins from post 9.

Old Harbor 20-1 - Alternate Entry has three wins, three seconds and two third place finishes in 11 career starts. She may make her graded stakes debut Saturday off a third in the minor Mount Vernon Stakes May 25, a second in the Toconderoga Stakes in October and an Allowance Optional Claiming score in September.

Got Lucky 6-1 - Main Track Only Entry has three runner-up finishes in her career - in seven tries but hasn't placed in her last four. She may enter off a second in the Monmouth Beach Stakes here May 4, a fifth in the Grade 3 Rampart Stakes in February and an Allowance Optional Claiming score in January.

Rebecca' Surprise 6-1 - Main Track Only Entry may make her graded stakes debut Saturday having placed in four straight races - a win and three second place finishes. She has 12 wins, eight seconds and five third place finishes in 32 career starts.
