Mo d'Amour 2-1 - Todd Pletcher trained filly has three wins and two third place finishes in 10 career starts. She recorded a third place finish in the Grade 2 Gazelle Stakes at Aqueduct April 9 but has failed to place in four starts since - a fifth in the Grade 1 Kentucky Oaks May 6 was followed by an eighth in the minor Wonder Again Stakes June 5, a fourth in the Grade 1 Mother Goose Stakes at Belmont Park July 2 and another fourth last time out in the Grade 1 Coaching Club American Oaks at Saratoga July 24. She won the minor Busher Stakes February 27 and had an Allowance Optional Claiming score at Laurel Park in February as well. Mo d'Amour has been a tad disappointing lately but not all that bad either. She will take solace in the fact that this represents a huge class relief and will be looking for a major breakthrough from gate 2 Saturday. Nik Juarez has the mount on the morning line favorite.
Tejana 5-2 - will hit the track for just the third time for trainer Shug McGaughey having won both of her starts so far in impressive fashion. Last time out was in an Allowance race by 4 1/4 lengths at Belmont Park July 13 after a maiden score by 4 1/2 lengths at first asking at Pimlico May 15. Tejana looks to remain unbeaten in her step up in competition - from post 3 with Edgar Prado aboard the intriguing second betting choice.

She made her stakes debut May 20 and finished eighth in the Grade 2 Black-Eyed Susan Stakes at Pimlico and followed that with an Allowance score at Parx June 19 and a sixth in the Grade 3 Delaware Oaks last time out July 9. She broke maiden April 24, had a third in a similar race at Laurel Park March 20 and a pair of off-the-board finishes in her first two career starts.
