Leigh Court - Canada's 2013 Sovereign Award winner as champion three-year-old filly won the Grade 3 Ontario Colleen Stakes on this track that year and was strong in 2014 when she won the Grade 3 Seaway Stakes here and the Grade 2 Thoroughbred Club of America Stakes at Keeneland - she also posted an OK fifth in the Breeders' Cup Filly and Mare Sprint that year. She had three starts in 2015 with runner-up finishes in the Grade 3 Royal North Stakes here in July and the Grade 2 Presque Isle Downs Masters in September with an eighth to close her year in the Grade 2 Thoroughbred Club of America Stakes in October. Leigh Court has two starts in 2016 with two good wins - the minor Mardi Gras Stakes at Fair Grounds February 9 and the Grade 3 Whimsical Stakes on this track April 10. She has been a tad up and down in the past but enters this week in terrific form on a track she's recorded five wins and a second place finish in seven starts. Florent Geroux has been tabbed with making it three straight wins Sunday from post 3.

Academic - Canada's 2015 Sovereign Award winner for 3 Year Old Filly has nine career starts with four wins and two second place finishes. Last time out was a second in the Grade 3 Maple Leaf Stakes on this track back on October 31 after consecutive wins - the Grade 3 British Columbia Derby at Hastings in September and by a dominant eight lengths in the Grade 3 Canadian Derby at Northlands Park August 15 (both against the boys). Before that was a very disappointing DNF in the Queen's Plate July 5 and another two race win streak - the best of which coming in the Woodbine Oaks at 66/1 odds June 14. She has won four of her last six starts and looks good ahead of the weekend. Academic hopes to keep and impressive run going from the rail Sunday with Eurico Rosa Da Silva in the reins.

Cactus Kris - has six wins, six seconds and three third place finishes in 19 career starts for trainer Ryan Walsh. She won the Grade 3 Ontario Fashion Stakes here in October and went on to a fourth in the Grade 2 Bessarabian Stakes in November and a second last time out in the minor Giant's Causeway Stakes at Keeneland in April. She also had a third in the Grade 3 Seaway Stakes at Woodbine August 8 which followed a win in the minor Satin and Lace Stakes here June 14. Cactus Kris has placed in seven of her last nine starts overall, has two wins, a second and a third place finish on this track and is competitive virtually every time out. She hopes to continue that trend with Huber Villa-Gomez in the saddle from gate 3.

Charming Delilah - Sid Attard trained mare has placed in 10 of 11 career starts - three wins, six seconds and a third place finish. She makes her stakes debut Sunday off an Allowance Optional Claiming core here October 31 and three straight runner-up finishes in Allowance Optional Claiming races last summer. Charming Delilah has been in every race so far in her career but takes a major step up in competition from gate 4. Emma-Jayne Wilson has been tabbed to ride.

Galina Point - has placed in 11 of 15 career starts for trainer Mark Casse - all on this track and made her graded stakes debut last time out finishing a good second in the Grade 3 Whimsical Stakes April 10. Before that was a runner-up finish in the minor OLG Algoma Stakes here way back in September after an eighth in the minor Wonder Where Stakes in August and a pair of seconds in a pair of minor stakes races in July. She also holds wins in the 2015 Lady Angela Stakes in May and the 2014 South Ocean Stakes. Galina Point has runner-up finishes in four of her last five starts and has certainly been knocking on the door. She aims for her first win in a year from gate 6 with Patrick Husbands guiding her.

Skylander Girl - defending champion in this race looked good at the beginning of 2015 when she posted runner-up finishes in the Grade 3 Marshua's River Stakes at Gulfstream in January and in the Grade 3 Whimsical Stakes and the Hendrie score. She has placed in two of her last four starts - an OK third last time out in the Grade 3 Whimsical Stakes here April 10 followed a fifth in the Grade 2 Bessarabian Stakes back on November 15, a fourth in the Grade 3 Ontario Fashion Stakes in October and a third in the minor OLG Algoma Stakes in September - all four results coming on this track. Skylander Girl now has four wins, seven seconds and five third place finishes in 30 career starts and will be after her first win in a year from post 7 with James McAleney aboard.

Copper Kitten - David Bell trained mare has three wins, three seconds and three third place finishes in 14 career starts - all on this track. She enters off a ninth in the Grade 2 Canadian Stakes in September, a third in an Allowance Optional Claiming in August, a sixth in the Grade 3 Ontario Matron Stakes July 24 and a fifth in the Grade 2 Dance Smartly Stakes July 5. She looks to place in stakes company for the first time Sunday and for her first win overall since June when she departs from post 7 with Jesse Campbell in the irons.
