2017 Demoiselle Stakes Entries at Aqueduct

Wonder Gadot

Highly regarded filly will hit the track for the fifth time for trainer Mark Casse having posted two wins and a second-place finish so far. Her first career start resulted in an Allowance score by four lengths, her second was an OK third in the G1 Natalma Stakes September 17 and her third was a breakthrough gate-to-wire six-length win in the G3 Mazarine Stakes October 7 - all at Woodbine. Last time out was a slightly disappointing bad-trip sixth in the Breeders' Cup Juvenile Fillies November 4. Wonder Gadot has been competitive so far and has looked good in training leading up to this weekend but will be in search of a strong bounce back effort and first win on dirt. John Velazquez gets the call on the most experienced entry in the field from post 3.

Daisy

John Servis trained filly has two career starts and two nice wins - by a combined 12 3/4 lengths. Last time out was a very successful stakes debut - a 4 3/4 length win in the G3 Tempted Stakes on this track November 3 after a gate-to-wire eight length maiden score at first asking - at Parx October 9. Daisy hasn't been touched so far and hopes to keep an impressive start to her career going with Kendrick Carmouche in the irons from the rail.

She arrives off an impressive seven length maiden score at Belmont Park October 26 which followed an eighth in her only stakes action to date - the G3 Miss Grillo Stakes also at Belmont Park October 1. She finally broke maiden last time out - at Laurel Park October 29 which followed a second in a MSW at Parx October 10 and a sixth in her debut at Laurel Park September 17.
