OffTrackBetting.com - Del Mar Race Track in Del Mar, California will play host to the G1 Del Mar Debutante Stakes on Saturday, September 2. Two year old fillies will take to Del Mar's dirt track and race seven furlongs for the winner's share of the $300,000 purse.

Has two career starts for trainer Phil D'Amato with two terrific wins - a 5 1/4 length maiden score at 9-1 odds at Santa Anita June 23 and a very successful stakes debut by the same margin last time out - a victory in the G2 Sorrento Stakes on this track August 6. Spectator hasn't been touched yet and will try to make it three-for-three to start her career. Jamie Theriot will be in the saddle from post 3.
Will hit the track for the second time for trainer Bob Baffert having posted a nice win in her only career start thus far - a maiden score on this track July 19. Just a Smidge steps up having posted two straight bullet works at six furlongs here and searches for a career-defining win from post 5 Saturday with Rafael Bejarano in the irons from post 5.

Has just one career start for trained Richard Baltas and it was a good one - a 3 1/2 length maiden score on this very track August 6 - the third-place finisher in that race was 15 lengths back. She looked good in that race and hopes to be again Saturday with Corey Nakatani scheduled to ride from gate 4.
Keith Desormeaux trained filly has two seconds and a third-place finish in her four career starts. Last time out was a very respectable second behind Spectator in the G2 Sorrento Stakes here August 5 which followed another second in a MSW on this track July 23, a third in a similar race at Santa Anita July 2 and a sixth in her debut June 9. Dancing Belle will chase a first career victory in her and enters in decent form - from post 7 with Kent Desormeaux guiding her.
Will hit the track for just the third time for trainer Richard Mandella looking to remain perfect. Her only start thus far was a 1 1/2 length maiden score at 5 1/2 lengths on this track July 30. Poetic shoots for a career-defining win Saturday when she leaves from gate 8 Saturday with Mike Smith in the reins.
Simon Callaghan trained filly will race for just the second time Saturday off a nice win in her only career start - by one length on this track August 19. Moonshine Memories hopes to make it two-for-two to start her career in what marks a huge step up in competition when she leaves from gate 2 with Flavien Prat aboard.
Has two career starts for trainer Eric Guillot with one win - both of her races were at Gulfstream Park. She steps into stakes company for the first time Saturday having broken maiden last time out July 23 after a fourth in her debut July 8. Gabrielleelizabeth has shown improvement and hopes to keep that trend going from the rail Saturday. Evin Roman rides.
Doug O'Neill trained filly has a win and a second-place finish in her two career starts. She makes her stakes debut Saturday off a maiden score on this track August 12 which followed a second in her debut at Los Alamitos July 6. Piedi Bianchi has gotten better every time out and hopes to do so again in her major step up in competition. Mario Gutierrez gets the call from gate 6.
