Defending Champion in this race in track record setting time - Eclipse Award winner as 2016 Champion Female Sprinter has placed in 14 of 18 career starts for trainer Ian Kruljac - five wins, six seconds and three third place finishes. She enters off an OK third in the competitive G1 Beholder Mile at Santa Anita June 3 which followed consecutive runner-up finishes - the G1 Humana Distaff at Churchill Downs May 6 and in the G1 Santa Margarita Stakes March 18. Before that were wins in gate-to-wire fashion in the G2 Santa Monica Stakes by an easy 3 3/4 lengths at Sant Anita February 21 and in upset fashion on the biggest stage - by three lengths in the Breeders' Cup Filly and Mare Sprint. Those two wins followed an OK second in the G2 John C. Mabee Stakes at Del Mar September 4, a close fourth in the G2 Yellow Ribbon Stakes on that track last July 16 and a respectable third behind Beholder in the G1 Vanity Mile at Santa Anita last June 4. Finest City has been very good lately posting two wins, three runner-ups and a third-place finish in her last six starts overall and will try to snap a three-race losing streak. Constellation

Has placed in nine of 10 career starts for trainer Jerry Hollendorfer - five wins, three seconds and a third-place finish. She finished third in the G1 Spinaway Stakes in September, 2015 - her second career start and went on to a second in the G2 Matron Stakes at Los Alamitos a month later. She has won four of six starts since - the best of which was the G1 La Brea Stakes at 12-1 odds December 26. The other wins include the minor City of Phoenix Stakes at Turf Paradise November 12, the minor Ruthless Stakes January 17, 2016 and the minor Furlough Stakes in November, 2015. She enters on the heels of consecutive runner-up finishes - behind the terrific Paulassilverliningthe G1 Madison Stakes last time out a Keeneland April 8 and as odds-on favorite in the G3 Las Flores Stakes at Santa Anita March 5. Constellation has been good the last 18 months (four wins and two seconds in her last eight starts) and will try for a third stakes score in five starts from gate 2 with David Flores guiding her.

Bob Baffert trained filly has 13 career starts with five wins, two seconds and two third-place finishes. She enters off an OK third as favorite in the G3 Desert Stormer Stakes at Santa Anita June 18 after a respectable runner-up finish in the G3 Vagrancy Handicap at Los Alamitos May 5, a terrific win in the G3 Las Flores Stakes March 5, six months away and a sixth in an Allowance Optional Claiming at Del Mar. Other notable results include a nice win in the minor C.E.R.F Stakes last July 20, another six-month layoff, a third in the G2 Santa Ynez Stakes in January, 2016, a win in the G2 Matron Stakes in October, 2015, a game runner-up finish in the 2015 G1 Del Mar Debutante and a win by 2 3/4 lengths as favorite in the 2015 G2 Sorrento Stakes. She was very good at the beginning of her career and has been ramping up again ahead of this weekend. Martin Garcia will be in the saddle trying to keep the roll going from gate 4.

Skye Diamonds

William Spawr trained filly has placed in 11 of 14 career starts - seven wins and four third place finishes. She made her graded stakes debut last time out and finished a respectable second behind multiple graded stakes winner Vale Dori in the G3 Adoration Stakes at Santa Anita May 7 after three straight wins - the minor Dream of Summer Stakes March 26 and two Allowance Optional Claiming scores - all at Santa Anita. Skye Diamonds has five wins and two seconds in her last seven starts overall - in very good form ahead of this weekend. Tiago Josue Pereira has been tabbed to ride from post 5.

Avicii

Peter Miller trained mare has 31 career starts with eight wins, nine seconds and seven third place finishes. She makes her stakes debut Saturday off a third in an Allowance Optional Claiming June 21, an Allowance Optional Claiming score May 25 and a second, a third and a second respectively in a trio pf Allowance Optional Claiming races - all at Santa Anita. She posted consecutive wins against lesser company before that to start her 2017 campaign. Avicii has been very good in Allowance company and hopes it translates in her major step up in competition when she leaves from gate 6 with Norberto Arroyo Jr. guiding her.

So Sweetitiz

Has nine career starts for trainer Martin Jones with four wins and two runner-up finishes. She makes her first start since September when she finished seventh in the G3 Eddie D Stakes at Santa Anita - a result that followed three straight wins in 2016 including the minor Daiseycutter Handicap, the minor Mizdirection Stakes and an Allowance Optional Claiming. So Sweetitiz was competitive before last time out and will be after a first win in 14 months Saturday in her first start in 10 months with Jamie Theriot guiding her from post 3.

Cuddle Alert

Reed Saldana trained mare has six wins, a second and eight third place finishes in her 24 career starts. She makes her graded stakes debut Saturday off a third in an Allowance Optional Claiming May 25, a seventh in the minor Dream of Summer Stakes March 26, a fifth in the minor Irish O'Brien Stakes March 18 and a good win in the minor Spring Fever Handicap February 19 - all at Santa Anita.
