2017 Houston Ladies Classic Entries at Sam Houston

I'm a Chatterbox 6-5 - seven time stakes winner and Larry Jones trained mare has eight wins, three seconds and two third place finishes in 17 career starts - she was second to Stellar Wind in the 2015 Eclipse Award voting. She enters having won three of her last five starts. Last time out was an OK fifth in the Breeders' Cup Distaff which followed a win in the G1 Juddmonte Spinster Stakes at Keeneland October 9, a fourth in the G1 Personal Ensign Stakes at Saratoga August 27 and a nice two race win streak - the G1 Delaware Handicap July 16 and the minor $100,000 Obeah Stakes by 8 1/2 lengths also at Delaware Park June 11. She had a good second in the G3 Doubledogdare Stakes at Keeneland in April, a somewhat disappointing eighth in the 2015 Breeders' Cup Distaff, a win in the G1 Cotillion Stakes at Parx September 19, 2015 and consecutive seconds - after being DQ'd for interference in the G1 Coaching Club American Oaks July 26, 2015 and in the G1 Alabama Stakes at Saratoga a month before that. I'm a Chatterbox has been in some top company and has fared very well for the most part. She will leave from gate 4 hoping to make it four wins in six starts with Florent Geroux in the saddle of the morning line favorite.

Family Tree 9-5 - has placed in 11 of 12 career starts for trainer Wayne Catalano - five wins, two seconds and four third place finishes. She enters off a nice win in the minor Zia Park Oaks November 23, a third in the minor Remington Park Oaks September 25, another third in the G1 Alabama Stakes at Saratoga August 20 and a terrific two race win streak - the G2 Indiana Oaks July 16 and the G3 Iowa Oaks June 30. She also finished fifth in the G3 Jessamine Stakes at Keeneland in October, 2015. Family Tree has been very good in her career and will be after a fourth win in six starts Sunday when she leaves from post 3 with Julien Leparoux guiding the second betting choice.

Unbridled Mo 3-1 - Todd Pletcher trained filly has four wins in her six career starts. She enters off a career worst effort however - a sixth in the G3 Comely Stakes at Aqueduct November 26. Before that were four straight wins including the minor Remington Park Oaks September 25 and the G3 Monmouth Park Oaks before that - August 20. Unbridled Mo was untouchable this past summer and hopes to get back to that form in a bounce back performance. Jose Ortiz will be in the irons of the third choice from the outside post 7.

Danzatrice 5-1 - has placed in seven of nine career starts for trainer Steve Asmussen - five wins, a second and a third place finish. Her only two graded stakes starts were her only off-the-board finishes - a fourth in the G1 Acorn Stakes in June and a sixth in the G3 Delaware Oaks in July. She has been better since - a nice win last time out in the minor Tiffany Lass Stakes at Fair Grounds December 26 followed a third in the minor Treasure Chest Stakes at Delta Downs November 19 and an Allowance score at Delta Downs in October. She also won the Parx Oaks in May. Danzatrice has been competitive virtually every time and will chase her first ever graded stakes score in good form. Luis Saez rides from the rail.

Steel Cut 10-1 - has 28 career starts for trainer Wesley Hawley with 12 wins, five seconds and two third place finishes. She makes her graded stakes debut Sunday having won three of her last four starts - very good form. Last time out was a win in the minor Oklahoma Classics Distaff at Remington Park October 1 which followed a third in the minor Flashy Lady Stakes on that track September 25 and two more wins including the minor Spotted Horse Stakes at Evangeline in June. She shoots for her fourth stakes win in her step up and could be competitive from gate 6. Robby Albarado has the mount.

Tiffany Case 15-1 - Eric Reed trained filly has five wins in her eight career starts. She makes her graded stakes debut Sunday off an Allowance Optional Claiming score at Turfway Park January 13, a ninth in the minor Mahoning Distaff Stakes November 21 and an Allowance score at Thistletown in October. Tiffany Case has yet to record a stakes win however and hopes to change all of that Sunday. Deshawn Parker has been tabbed to ride from post 7.

Another Bond Girl 20-1 - M. Brent Davidson trained filly has three wins, four seconds and four third place finishes in 19 career starts. She makes her graded stakes debut Sunday off a third in the minor Useeit Stakes at Remington Park December 11, a second in an Allowance on that track November 12 and a fifth in the minor Oklahoma Classics Distaff Stakes October 21. She won the minor Iowa Stallion Filly Stakes at Prairie Meadows in July. Another Bond Girl has placed in four of her last five starts overall - decent form ahead of this weekend. She steps into graded stakes company for the first time Sunday looking for her first win overall in six months. David Cabrera has been tabbed to ride.
