Won the G2 Beaumont Stakes at Keeneland in April, 2015 and has been up and down since for trainer Graham Motion. She has been good in her last four starts however - a second last time out in the minor Licence Fee Stakes at Belmont Park April 30 followed a good win in the G3 Buffalo Trace Franklin County Stakes at Keeneland October 14, a second in the minor Smart N Fancy Stakes at Saratoga August 28 and a good win in the minor Caress Stakes on that track July 31. Miss Ella now has five wins, three seconds and a third-place finish in 14 career starts and is expected to be competitive again Saturday from gate 8. Luis Contreras will be in the reins of the morning line favorite.

Chic Thrill 7-2

Lightly raced Malcolm Pierce trained mare has six career starts with three wins, a second and a third-place finish - all on this track. She makes her graded stakes debut Sunday off an Allowance Optional Claiming score a year ago June 26 after a respectable second in the minor Sweet Briar Too Stakes June 4, a third in an Allowance Optional Claiming last May 1 and a fourth in the minor Jammed Lovely Stakes in November, 2015. She won her first two career starts. Chic Thrill hits the track for the first time in nearly a year hoping to keep a decent stretch going - from gate 4 with Eurico Rosa Da Silva aboard the second betting choice.

River Maid 9-2

Robert Tiller trained mare has placed in 13 of 16 career starts - seven wins, four seconds and two third place finishes - all at Woodbine. She enters off a disappointing sixth in the minor Ballade Stakes May 14, a respectable second in the G2 Whimsical Stakes April 23 and a nice win in the G2 Bessarabian Stakes November 19. Before that was an OK third in the G3 Ontario Fashion Stakes October 16, a second in the minor Kenora Stakes August 31, a fifth in the G3 Royal North Stakes July 31 and four straight wins including the 2016 Ballade Stakes June 4. River Maid had been competitive every time out before last time out and hopes to bounce back for her first graded stakes score - from post 7. Gary Boulanger has been tabbed to ride at 9-2 on the morning line.

Minks Aprise 6-1

Has five wins, a second and two third place finishes in 16 career starts for trainer Roger Attfield. She made her graded stakes debut last April and finished an OK fourth in the G2 Great Lady M Stakes at Los Alamitos. It followed a win by 2 1/4 lengths in the minor Camilla Urso Stakes at Golden Gate March 19, a sixth in the minor Wishing Well Stakes at Santa Anita in January and an Allowance Optional Claiming score in December at Golden Gate. Mikes Aprise has been just OK lately - a third last time out in the G2 Bessarabian Stakes here back on November 19 followed a fourth in the G3 Maple Leaf Stakes here November 5, a good win in the minor H.B.P.A Stakes at Presque Isle Downs October 6, a third in the minor Steve Pini Memorial at Suffolk Downs September 3, a seventh in the G3 Ontario Matron Stakes on this track in July and a fourth in the G3 Chicago Handicap at Arlington June 25. She has quietly placed in three of her last four starts overall and will chase a first graded stakes score from gate 2 with Patrick Husbands guiding her.

Code Warrior 8-1

Rachel Halden trained filly has placed in eight of 11 career starts - three wins, three seconds and two third place finishes. She enters on the heels of consecutive third place finishes - behind Blurricane last time out in the minor Ballade Stakes here May 14 and the minor Camilla Urso Stakes at Golden Gate March 18. Before that were two straight runner-up finishes in Allowance races at Golden Gate in January. Her two graded stakes results were a respectable runner-up finish in the G2 Santa Ynez Stakes in January, 2016 and a seventh in the 2016 Santa Ysabel Stakes in March. She also won the minor Golden Gate Debutante Stakes in November, 2015. Code Warrior has placed in four straight races ahead of this weekend and searches for a first stakes win in 18 months from gate 6. Anne Sanquinetti has the mount.

Jennifer Lynette 8-1

Has placed in seven of eight career starts for trainer Mark Casse - three wins, two seconds and two third place finishes - all on this track. She makes her graded stakes debut Sunday on a two-race win streak - an Allowance Optional Claiming May 14 and an Allowance April 16. Before that was a third in an Allowance Optional Claiming last July, a fifth in the minor Alywow Stakes in June, 2016 and a pair of runner-up finishes in minor stakes action - the Fury Stakes in May, 2016 and the Star Shoot Stakes last April. Jennifer Lynette has been trending upward ahead of this weekend and will be after a first stakes score from the outside gate 10 Sunday. Rafael Manuel Hernandez will be in the irons.

Blurricane 10-1

Has placed in 14 of 20 career starts for trainer Martin Drexler - eight wins, four seconds and two third place finishes - all at Woodbine. She enters on a nice two race win streak - the minor Ballade Stakes May 14 and an Allowance Optional Claiming November 11. Before that was a second, a seventh and a win last summer in a trio of Allowance races. Blurricane arrives off a career-best effort and shoots for a third straight win in her graded stakes debut. Alan Garcia gets the call from post 5.

Rattataptap 15-1

Bill Mott trained mare has 14 career starts with four wins, two seconds and a third-place finish. Last time out was a seventh in the minor Plenty of Grace Stakes at Aqueduct April 15 which followed an Allowance Optional Claiming score at Tampa Bay February 16 and 10 months away. Before the layoff was a fifth in the G1 La Brea Stakes in December, 2015, an Allowance Optional Claiming score by 4 1/2 lengths at Del Mar October 21, 2015, a second in a similar race, a respectable third in the 2015 G3 Torrey Pines Stakes and consecutive off-the-board finishes in graded stakes action in the summer of 2015. Rattataptap has been just OK in her career and searches for a first ever stakes score from post 3. Jesse Campbell rides.

Cactus Copy 20-1

Ryan Walsh trained filly has three wins and three second place finishes in 10 career starts. She made her graded stakes debut in September and finished tenth in the G2 Presque Isle Downs Masters and has been just OK since - a sixth last timeout in the G3 Lambholm South Endeavour Stakes at Tampa Bay February 11 followed a second in the minor Ruling Angel Stakes on this track October 16. Other results include a second in an Allowance at Presque Isle Downs August 30, a seventh in the minor Duchess Stakes at Woodbine August 7 and consecutive Allowance scores at Presque Isle Downs last June. She has been decent so far but hasn't tasted victory in nearly a year. She will leave from post 9 Sunday hoping to change all of that with Huber Vila-Gomez guiding her.

Crumlin Spirit 20-1

Has just two wins, six seconds and two third place finishes for trainer Michael Doyle -all on this track. She arrives off an OK second in the minor Ballade Stakes May 14, a sixth in her only graded stakes action - the G3 Whimsical Stakes April 23, an eighth in the minor Ruling Angel Stakes in October, a fourth in an Allowance Optional Claiming September 17 and a twelfth in the minor La Prevoyante Stakes in August. She did win the minor Lady Angela Stakes last May but hasn't been great since. She tries to snap a funk Saturday from the rail with David Moran aboard.
