Trainer Stanley Gold (Ballet Diva): “I don’t think she was handling the track (last time out). She was sliding. She handled it today, but the stretch got longer. By the eighth-pole it looked like there was another mile to go. The other one (stablemate Silent Prayer) almost caught her. She put away the ones that were pushing her and had enough to hold off our other horse."

“You always think, all things being equal, that the bigger horse wins because he’s got the bigger stride. Maybe things aren’t equal and the smaller horse is striding faster. She got it done.”

Jockey Jose Caraballo (Ballet Diva): "It was a good trip. I had to work on her a little bit. I had pressure from the beginning to the end, but she came through. She's a nice filly, I've always liked her. Last time I couldn't ride her (because of a broken toe), but he (trainer Stanley Gold) said I could ride her back and I was happy to hear that. I want to thank Stanley and the owners (Jacks or Better Farm) for the opportunity to get back on her, I appreciate it. She handled the track great. Every time I ride her, she does anything I ask her. She was under the gun early and she handled it."
