Super Hi-5 Carryover of $5,383 for First Race Trainer David Braddy Notches Win No. 999
HALLANDALE BEACH, FL – The 20-cent Rainbow 6 went unsolved for the sixth straight racing program Saturday at Gulfstream Park, producing a $41,185.45 carryover jackpot for Sunday’s 11-race program.
Multiple tickets with all six winners were each worth $3,195.30.
The carryover jackpot is only paid out when there is a single unique ticket sold with all six winners. On days when there is no unique ticket, 70 percent of that day’s pool goes back to those bettors holding tickets with the most winners while 30 percent is carried over to the jackpot pool.
Sunday’s Rainbow 6 sequence will span Races 6-11. In Race 9, an optional claiming allowance at a mile on turf, Defying Gravity is scheduled to seek his sixth straight victory. Cornelio Velasquez has been aboard for all of the Jose Pinchin-trained 5-year-old mare’s wins and has the assignment Sunday.
There will also be a Super Hi-5 Carryover of $5,383.59 for Sunday’s first race.
Trainer David Braddy Notches Win No. 999
Trainer David Braddy is scheduled to saddle one horse on Sunday’s 11-race program at Gulfstream for a chance to score win No. 1000 in the third race.
Braddy notched No. 999 with first-time starter Frye’s Leap ($21) in Saturday’s third race, a $35,000 maiden claiming race for juvenile fillies at furlongs on turf. The daughter of Wildcat Heir rallied from off the pace under leading rider Tyler Gaffalione, who went on to enjoy a four-win afternoon.

Gaffalione is scheduled to ride the Florida-bred who is rated second in the morning line at 3-1.
In addition to his victory aboard Frye’s Leap Saturday, Gaffalione scored aboard Unknown ($12.20) in the seventh, General Obvious ($5.20) in the ninth and Wonder Frolic ($) in the 11th.
Luca Panici rode three winners for the second straight program Saturday, scoring aboard Tequesta Storm ($5) in the first, Fabulous Devotion ($7) in the sixth and Starship Impulse ($11.40) in the 12th.
