Super Hi-5 Carryover of $6,301.22 for First Race Tyler Gaffalione Rides Three Winners Sunday

HALLANDALE BEACH, FL – There will be a 20-cent Rainbow 6 jackpot carryover of $434,747.25 greeting bettors when live racing resumes Wednesday at Gulfstream Park.

Post time for Wednesday’s eight-race card is 12:55 p.m.

A total of $173,492 was wagered Sunday into the popular multi-race wager, which had multiple tickets sold with all six winners, each worth $977.66.

The carryover jackpot is only paid out when there is a single unique ticket sold with all six winners. On days when there is no unique ticket, 70 percent of that day’s pool goes back to those bettors holding tickets with the most winners while 30 percent is carried over to the jackpot pool.

Wednesday’s Rainbow 6 will span races 3-8 and includes the featured seventh race, a six-furlong optional claiming allowance going six furlongs on the main track.

There will also be a Super Hi-5 carryover of 6,301.22 for Wednesday’s opener.

Note: Jockey Tyler Gaffalione was a triple winner on Sunday, with Responsive ($3) in the first race, Insta Erma ($8.80) in the third and Eila ($3.20) in the eighth. Emisael Jaramillo posted a riding double, aboard Miss Hollywood ($6) in the fifth and Storm Sense ($8.40) in the ninth.
