Rainbow 6 Carryover Stands at $130,147 for Thursday’s Program

December 10, 2019

HALLANDALE BEACH, FL – The 20-cent Rainbow 6 went unsolved for the 11th consecutive racing day Sunday at Gulfstream Park, producing a carryover jackpot of $130,147.41 for Thursday’s program.

There were no tickets with all six winners sold. Thus, multiple tickets with five winners were each worth $625.62.

The carryover jackpot is only paid out when there is a single unique ticket sold with all six winners. On days when there is no unique ticket, 70 percent of that day’s pool goes back to those bettors holding tickets with the most winners, while 30 percent is carried over to the jackpot pool.

Tyler Gaffalione, who rode four winners on Saturday’s card, added another three winners to his meet-leading total, scoring aboard Spring Up ($14.60) in the third, Queen of Silence ($5.20) in the fourth and Scarlett O’Mara ($3.60) in the 11th race. Trainer Mark Casse also had three winners, including Spring Up, Scarlett O’Mara and Southern Sis ($4) in the first.
