Late Pick 4 and Pick 5 Pools Guaranteed at $50,000

HALLANDALE BEACH, FL – The 20-cent Rainbow 6 carryover jackpot pool will be guaranteed at $150,000 Saturday at Gulfstream Park.

The popular multi-race wager went unsolved Friday, when multiple bettors holding tickets with the 1-6-3-7-6-7 combination each cashed for $4,877.28.

The Rainbow 6 carryover jackpot is paid out only when there is a single unique ticket sold with all six winners. On days when there is no unique ticket, 70 percent of that day’s pool goes back to those bettors holding tickets with the most winners, while 30 percent is carried over to the jackpot pool.

Saturday’s six-race sequence of the Rainbow 6 will span Races 6-11.

In addition to the Rainbow 6 carryover jackpot being guaranteed Saturday, the pools for both the Late Pick 4 (Races 8-11) and the Pick 5 (Races 7-11) at $50,000.

Jockey Tyler Gaffalione, who was involved in a spill during training hours at Gulfstream Park West Friday morning, took off his afternoon mounts after the first race.
