Saturday’s Rainbow 6 Mandatory Payout Returns $26,000

HALLANDALE BEACH, FL – A victory by longshot Mystic Sky in Saturday’s $100,000 Soldier’s Dancer at Gulfstream Park triggered a Super Hi 5 carryover Sunday of $82,263.53 and a 20-cent Rainbow 6 payout of $26,761.18.

There was a mandatory payout of the Rainbow 6 Saturday. The carryover going into the 11-race program was nearly $1 million. Bettors wagered another $4.5 million into the 20-cent wager. The final leg of Saturday’s Rainbow 6 was the Soldier’s Dancer.

There was a $12,000 Super Hi 5 carryover going into the Soldier’s Dancer. Vegso Racing Stable’s Mystic Sky, a 20-1 longshot trained by Phil Gleaves, returned $42.60. Heavily-favored Enterprising, a Grade 2 winner, finished sixth.

First race post for Sunday’s Super Hi 5 carryover is 1:15 p.m. The first race is a claiming event at 1 1/16 mile on the turf.
