Mo Town Wins Remsen Stakes at Aqueduct Racetrack

The $300,000 G2 Remsen Stakes went down Saturday, November 26 at Aqueduct Racetrack in South Ozone Park, New York. Some of the best two year olds in the land took to Aqueduct's dirt track and raced 1 1/8 miles. It was 4-1 co-second choice Mo Town that was best on the day in his stakes debut winning by a relatively easy 2 1/2 lengths in the field of 10 - he earned 10 qualifying points toward next year's Kentucky Derby with the win. No Dozing, who was also sent off at 4-1 finished an unthreatening second with 4-5 favorite Takaful getting in for a slightly disappointing third. Win With Pride was fourth followed by You're to Blame, Tale of Silence, Tellmeafookystory, Hookup, Newman and Lead Astray to complete the order of finish.
