2016 Remsen Stakes Entries at Aqueduct

Takaful 7-5 - highly regarded colt has just one career start for trainer Kiaran McLaughlin and it was a good one - a maiden score by an incredible eighth lengths in a 6 1/2 furlong race at Belmont Park October 29 - at 12-1 odds. Takaful tries to remain undefeated in his longest race to date and first around two turns as he steps into stakes company for the first time. He has looked great in works in the leadup to this race - he had a bullet breeze on November 18 - fastest of the 52 horses that day over four furlongs. He leaves from gate 4 with Jose Ortiz guiding the morning line favorite.

No Dozing 4-1 - has three career starts for trainer Arnaud Delacour with two wins. He won his first two career starts including an Allowance Optional Claiming at Laurel Park September 10. Last time out was an OK step up into stakes company - a fourth in the G1 Claiborne Breeders' Futurity at Keeneland October 8. No Dozing has been decent so far and hopes his experience against a terrific field last time out will help him win his first stakes race. Daniel Centeno has been pegged with accomplishing that goal on the second betting choice from post 9.

Mo Town 5-1 - Anthony Dutrow trained colt has a win and a second place finish in his two career starts. He steps into stakes company for the first time Saturday off a terrific seven length maiden score at this distance at Belmont Park September 24 and a second in his debut at Saratoga - August 27. Mo Town chases a career-defining win Saturday from gate 8. John Velazquez has the mount in Mo Town's first start around two turns. He too has looked good in training - a bullet five furlongs breeze in 59.40 on Belmont's main track on November 19 is among his recent works.

You're to Blame 10-1 - has a win and a second place finish in three career starts for trainer Chad Brown. He makes his stakes debut Saturday having finally broken maiden last time out at Belmont Park October 15. Before that was a second at Saratoga September 3 and a fifth in his debut at Monmouth Park in July. You're to Blame has shown improvement every time out and hopes to continue from post 7 with Javier Castellano scheduled to ride.

Newman 10-1 - has two career starts for trainer Thomas Albertrani with a second and a third place finish. He makes his stakes debut Saturday off a second behind You're to Blame in a MSW at Belmont Park October 15 and a third in his debut in August. Newman tries for his first career win and will leave from gate 2 with Joel Rosario aboard.

Win With Pride 15-1 - has two career starts for trainer Todd Pletcher with a win and a third place finish. He broke maiden last time out in impressive style ay Parx October 31 after a third in his debut at Belmont Park September 24. Tellmeafookystory 20-1 - Todd Pletcher trained colt has placed in three of four career starts - a win, a second and a third place finish. He makes his graded stakes debut Saturday off a respectable second in the minor Sleepy Hollow Stakes at Belmont Park October 22, a maiden score on that track October 10 and a fourth and a third respectively to start his career. Tellmeafookystory has been in every race so far in his career sand hopes to keep the roll going in his graded stakes debut. Kendrick Carmouche has been tabbed to ride from the rail.

Lead Astray 15-1 - has two career starts for trainer Shug McGaughey with one win. He debuted September 17 and finished seventh but broke maiden last time out October 29 - both results at Belmont Park. Lead Astray will try to build on some momentum when he departs from the outside gate 10 with Antonio Gallardo in the irons.

Tale of Silence 30-1 - has just one win in three career starts for trainer Barclay Tagg. He enters off a fifth in an Allowance at Keeneland October 20 after a maiden score at Belmont Park September 24 and an eighth in his debut July 20. Tale of Silence hasn't been all that impressive lately but hopes to make a serious statement Saturday from post 5. Jose Lezcano rides.
