Fed Biz Wins San Diego Handicap at Del Mar Race Course
Las Vegas, NV - The $200,000 Grade 2 San Diego Handicap went down at Del Mar in sunny California on Saturday, July 26 - a race that was sadly marred by the euthanization of favorite Dance With Fate last week after an accident in the leadup. 3-1 second choice Fed Biz meant business on Saturday despite it all - not only did he win by 5 1/4 lengths but he did so in track record time for 1 1/16 miles - a 1:41 mark eclipsed the time of the great Zenyatta back in 2008. 25-1 shot Footbridge finished a very good second with You Know I Know getting up for third. 2-1 favorite Frac Daddy fizzled and finished fourth with Handsome Mike, Honduran, Soi Phet, Imperative, and Battier completing the order of finish.
