Skye Diamonds Wins Rancho Bernardo Handicap at Del Mar

Del Mar race track in Del Mar, California played host to the $100,000 G3 Rancho Bernardo Handicap on Sunday, August 13 - a 6 1/2-furlong dirt test for fillies and mares three years old and upward. It was 8-5 race favorite Skye Diamonds that continued to impress, winning her second straight graded stakes race, biding her time and blowing by the competition in the end and emerging by 1 1/4 lengths. 2-1 third choice Constellation finished second for the second straight time while last out Desert Stormer Stakes winner and 9-5 second choice Bendable got in for third in the short field of five. Munny Spunt and Rockport Babe completed the order of finish.
