William Spawr trained filly has placed in 12 of 15 career starts - eight wins and four third place finishes. She made her graded stakes debut two starts back and finished a respectable second behind multiple graded stakes winner Vale Dori in the G3 Adoration Stakes at Santa Anita May 7 and followed that with a good 2 1/2 length win over Constellation and champion female sprinter Finest City in the G2 Great Lady M Stakes at Los Alamitos July 8. She also had three straight wins to start 2017 - the minor Dream of Summer Stakes March 26 and two Allowance Optional Claiming scores - all at Santa Anita. Skye Diamonds has six wins and two seconds in her last eight starts overall - in very good form ahead of this weekend. Tiago Josue Pereira has been tabbed to ride from post 3.

Constellation

Has placed in 10 of 11 career starts for trainer Jerry Hollendorfer - five wins, four seconds and a third-place finish. She finished third in the G1 Spinaway Stakes in September, 2015 - her second career start and went on to a second in the G2 Matron Stakes at Belmont Park a month later. She has won four of eight starts since - the best of which was the G1 La Brea Stakes at 12-1 odds December 26. The other wins include the minor City of Phoenix Stakes at Turf Paradise November 12, the minor Ruthless Stakes January 17, 2016 and the minor Furlough Stakes in November, 2015. She enters on the heels of three straight runner-up finishes - behind Skye Diamonds in the G2 Great Lady M Stakes at Los Alamitos July 6, in the G1 Madison Stakes at Keeneland April 8 and as odds-on favorite in the G3 Las Flores Stakes at Santa Anita March 5. Constellation has been good the last 19 months (four wins and three seconds in her last nine starts) and will try to snap a string of three straight seconds when she leaves from gate 4 with Flavien Prat aboard.

Has six career starts for trainer Richard Mandella and has placed in all - four wins, a second and a third-place finish. She returned from a layoff June 18 and promptly won the six-furlong G3 Desert Stormer Stakes by 1 1/2 lengths at Santa Anita after a third in the G2 Thoroughbred Club of America Stakes at Keeneland in October, a nice win in the minor Beverly J. Lewis Stakes last September and a second in an Allowance Optional Claiming on this track in July, 2016. Bendable has been a factor every time out and will chase a second straight graded stakes score from gate 2. Mike Smith will be in the saddle.

Rockport Babe

Lightly raced Mick Ruis trained filly has six career starts with three wins - all results at Santa Anita. She makes her stakes debut Sunday on a nice two-race win streak - both Allowance Optional Claiming races. She posted a ninth and an eighth respectively in a pair of Allowance Optional Claiming races before that. Rockport Babe steps up in career-best form and hopes to carry some momentum into this stakes bow. Martin Garcia has been tabbed to ride from the rail.

Munny Spunt

Has placed in seven of 11 career starts for trainer Doug O'Neill - four wins and three runner-up finishes. She makes her stakes debut Sunday off a Claiming score at this distance on this track July 29 which followed a second in a Claiming at Santa Anita June 30 and two more Claiming scores at Santa Anita early in the summer. Munny Spunt has been very good against lesser company and hopes it translates in his major step up in competition from the outside post 5. Drayden Van Dyke rides.
