The $750,000 Grade 1 Delaware Handicap was contested Saturday, July 16 at Delaware Park in Wilmington, Delaware - a 1 1/4 mile dirt test for fillies and mares three years old and upward. Overwhelming 3-5 favorite I'm a Chatterbox survived a rough start and objection and easily won her second Grade 1 race - this time by 2 1/4 lengths. 9-5 second choice Paid Up Subscriber finished second in the field of six with Penwith rallying from last and getting in for third at 7-1 odds. Mei Ling was fourth followed by Milaya and Money'soncharlotte to complete the order of finish.
