Stanford Wins Harlan's Holiday Stakes at Gulfstream Park

The $100,000 G3 Harlan's Holiday Stakes was contested Saturday, December 17 at Gulfstream Park in Hallandale Beach, Florida. Horses three years old and upward were featured as they took to Gulfstream's dirt track and raced 1 1/16 miles. It was Stanford that led at every point of call and prevailed by a relatively easy three lengths as the 9-5 second betting choice. 8-5 favorite Keen Ice closed well to claim second while 3-1 third choice Awesome Slew held for third in the field of seven. Madefromlucky finished fourth and Hy Riverside, Joshua's Comprise, and Applicator completed the order of finish.
