Curlin's Approval Wins Royal Delta Stakes at Gulfstream Park

The $200,000 G2 Royal Delta Stakes took place Saturday, February 18 at Gulfstream Park in Hallandale Beach, Florida. Fillies and mares four years old and upward were featured when they saddled up and went 1 1/16 miles on Gulfstream's dirt track. It was the peaking Curlin's Approval that earned her second straight graded stakes score on this track in impressive style - this time by an easy six lengths as the 4-5 favorite. 13-1 shot Mo' Green finished second in the field of six while 2-1 second choice Eskenformoney was another 5 1/4 lengths back in third. Pace setter and 5-2 third choice Verve's Tale faded to fourth with Venom Girl and Caboclo do Rio completing the order of finish.
