High Ridge Road Wins Barbara Fritchie Stakes at Laurel Park

The $300,000 G2 Barbara Fritchie Stakes was run Saturday, February 18 at Laurel Park in Laurel, Maryland. Fillies and mares four years old and upward took to Laurel Park's dirt track and raced seven furlongs. Martin Schwartz's 3-1 co-second choice High Ridge Road continued her Laurel Park dominance and remained undefeated on that track - this time by a neck for her first ever graded stakes win. 7-5 favorite By the Moon finished a close second with Clothes Fall Off claiming third at 8-1 odds. Wonder Gal, who was also sent off at 3-1 was fourth in the field of eight while Regina Marina, Sweet On Smokey, Takrees, and Rowd E Allie completed the order of finish.
