Horses three years old and upward took to Lone Star's dirt track and went 1 1/16 miles. Spendthrift Farm and Stonestreet Stables' 2-1 second choice Cyrus Alexander emerged victorious in relatively easy fashion in the field of seven for his first stakes win. 7-5 favorite Shotgun Kowboy finished second while 9-2 third choice Rocket Time settled for third. Spider's Alibi finished fourth while Supermason, Carve and F J Uncle Vic completed the order of finish.
