It Tiz Well Wins Cotillion Stakes at Parx Racing
The $1 million G1 Cotillion Stakes took place Saturday, September 23 at Parx Racing in Bensalem, Pennsylvania. Three-year-old fillies raced 1 1/16 miles on Parx's dirt track. Tommy Town Thoroughbreds' Arch filly, 5-1 second choice It Tiz Well posted the upset win - by two lengths over 4-5 favorite - the scorching Abel Tasman. Lockdown captured third at 8-1 odds in the filed of 11, a half-length ahead of Mopotism who settled for fourth. Proud and Fearless was fifth while Actress, 5-1 Salty, Teresa Z, Sine Wave, Thirstforthecup, and Stay Found completed the order of finish. Run and Go scratched.
