Gervinho Wins Sir Beaufort Stakes at Santa Anita Park
Las Vegas, NV - Santa Anita Park in Arcadia, California played host to the $200,000 Grade 2 Sir Beaufort Stakes Thursday, December 26 - a one mile turf test for three year olds. Gervinho bested the field of nine by a head over Procurement. Outside Nashville finished in a dead heat with Si Sage for third, but a disqualification left Si Sage as the only third-place finisher. Dice Flavor finished fifth, followed by Tom's Tribute, 7-5 favorite No Jet Lag, Horizontalyspeakin, and Tiz a Minister.
