Las Vegas, NV - Santa Anita Park turf in Arcadia, California played host to the $400,000 Grade 1 Shoemaker Mile on Saturday, June 13. 13-1 long shot Hronis Racing's Talco upset the field of just five after he closed from 10 lengths back in the stretch and prevailed by a half length. Even money favorite Midnight Storm finished second. Seek Again was third at 7-2 on the morning line while Winning Prize and the disappointing Bal a Bali completed the order of finish.
