Obviously Wins Breeders' Cup Turf Sprint at Santa Anita Park

The $1 million G1 Breeders' Cup Turf Sprint took place Saturday, November 5 at Santa Anita Park in Arcadia, California. Horses three years old and upward took to Santa Anita's downhill turf course and raced about 6 1/2 furlongs. Anthony Fanticola and Joseph Scardino's slight 7-2 favorite Obviously finally won a BC race in his fifth try. 6-1 co-second choice Om finished just a neck back in second while Pure Sensation finished third at 12-1 odds in the full field of 14. Calgary Cat was fourth and was followed by Green Mask, Holy Lute, Washington DC, Undrafted, Mongolian Saturday, A Lot, Home of The Brave, Celestine, Ambitious Brew and Karar to complete the order of finish. Lady Shipman and Suedois scratched.
