Constellation Wins La Brea Stakes at Santa Anita Park

The $300,000 G1 La Brea Stakes was run Monday, December 26 at Santa Anita Park in Arcadia, California. Three year old fillies were featured when they took to Santa Anita's dirt track and raced seven furlongs. LNJ Foxwoods' Constellation continued her recent surge for new trainer Jerry Hollendorfer, emerging victorious by a half length at 12-1 odds. 9-5 co-favorite Finley'sluckycharm finished a quality second in the field of eight while Enola Gray checked in third at 9-2 odds. Lunar Empress was fourth followed by the other co-favorite Lightstream, Perfect Pic, Coniah and Chao Chom to complete the order of finish.
