Saratoga Race Course in Saratoga Springs, New York was the scene of the $700,000 Grade 1 Priority One Jets Forego Stakes on Saturday, August 26 - a seven furlong dirt race for hoses three years old and upward and a Breeders' Cup Challenge "Win and You're In" race for the Breeders' Cup Sprint. A. P. Indian, a son of Indian Charlie, won his second consecutive grade I sprint - this time in stakes record time by 2 1/2 lengths as the even money favorite. 20-1 shot Tamaruz finished a very good second, followed by Stallwalkin' Dude who was sent off at 9-1 odds. Dannie's Deceiver was fourth in the field of 10 while 3-1 second choice Catalina Red, The Truth Or Else, 6-1 third choice Limousine Liberal, Schivarelli, Chief Lion and Ready for Rye completed the order of finish. Anchor Down and Marking scratched.
